About
- Are you a native speaker?
- No. I'm actually just a learner, from England!
I have a Japanese proficiency level of around N3 level, which is why I am focusing on intermediate Japanese and N3 ~ N2 content.
I am also no longer going to try and translate things for others anymore, sorry. Please ask native speakers of Japanese on how to say things in Japanese, as they will be of more help than I can be. However! If you need help regarding the understanding of sentences (incl. native speaker's responses to your questions), then I am more than happy to help as well as produce resources and examples that may provide further insight. - Could you add romaji to your posts?
- I'm afraid not, sorry! As this is not a blog specifically for beginners, I have decided not to use romaji. I highly encourage everyone to learn how to read and use kana as soon as possible, and avoid romaji entirely. Then once you have learnt or as you are learning kana, you can download a hover dictionary to read kanji!
Hover dictionaries:Rikaikun for Chrome, Rikaichan for Firefox and Floating Dictionary for Mac. This is an example of what it looks like:
. - What kind of things do you post on this blog?
- In order to get a good feel of what this blog is like, please check out my blogging schedule. It shows what I currently post as well as the things I have included in the past. However, I believe that most of the posts on this blog are grammar posts, comics/manga segments, answered questions and podcasts.
But I do try and include a variety of things, so please explore to see if there's anything that might interest you! - Can you recommend any themes?
- I usually pick themes and pages made by Wicked Eternity Themes and Nutty Themes.
